I've been concentrating this weekend on centering and ridding myself of anxiety. I've been doing a lot of writing the last few days - bits of poems with mythic themes. When I'm feeling stressed out, poetry sometimes comes to me in dreams - the trick is to be able to remember tatters of it when I wake up!

I've been listening to some music I love: The soundtrack of the 1973 film The Wicker Man, the neoclassical group Angels of Venice, and The Planets Suite by Holst.

Phil and I went to a hockey game Friday night. I highly recommend watching ice hockey if you feel the need for to engage in socially acceptable screaming. It helps tremendously! :)

What a cool picture! And I don't think I've ever heard of the Angels of Venice before - I had a listen and I love them!

Meantime, remember the words of Dame Julian of Norwich:

All shall be well
and all shall be well, and
all manner of thing shall be well.

You've been looking after yourself - good! I'd not heard of the Angels of Venice either, thanks for the link!

I too have been working hard on all the anti anxiety measures! Good luck to us both...music works well, as does perfume. Lots and lots of it.

I've tagged you. Please see my post today -- it comes via Olfactarama and before that Perfume Shrine. I have not checked beyond that. It's kind of fun. I hope you don't mind.
